Ask us about this tour!
Description The Lemosho Route is one of the most scenic and comfortable ways to climb Kilimanjaro. Starting on the western side of the mountain, it offers a gentle altitude gain, excellent acclimatization, and a very high summit success rate. The trail takes you through rainforest, the Shira Plateau, the famous Lava Tower, and the Barranco Valley before the final ascent to Uhuru Peak (5,895 m). Ideal for: Trekkers who want the safest, most beautiful route with the highest chance of reaching the summit. What to expect:
Duration: 8 days Start: Londorossi Gate Finish: Mweka Gate Short Itinerary: Day 1: Rainforest → Mti Mkubwa Day 2: To Shira Plateau Day 3: Shira 1 → Shira 2 Day 4: Lava Tower → Barranco (climb high, sleep low) Day 5: Barranco Wall → Karanga Day 6: Karanga → Barafu Day 7: Summit to Uhuru Peak → Mweka Day 8: Descent to gate → Hotel transfer
Description The Machame Route, also known as “The Whiskey Route”, is one of Kilimanjaro’s most iconic and scenic trails. It offers a strong “climb high, sleep low” acclimatization profile and dramatic landscapes — from dense rainforest and rocky ridges to the Shira Plateau, Lava Tower, the famous Barranco Wall, and glacier views on summit day. Ideal for: Trekkers who are reasonably fit and want the classic Kilimanjaro experience with a mix of challenge, scenery, and a high summit success rate. What to expect:
Steeper, more dynamic trail than Marangu or Lemosho
“Climb high, sleep low” acclimatization via Lava Tower
Duration: 7 days Start: Machame Gate Finish: Mweka Gate Short Itinerary: Day 1: Machame Gate → Shira Plateau Day 2: Shira Plateau → Lava Tower → Barranco (climb high, sleep low) Day 3: Barranco Camp → Karanga (via Barranco Wall) Day 4: Karanga → Barafu High Camp Day 5: Summit to Uhuru Peak → Mweka Camp Day 6: Descent to gate → Hotel transfer
Description The Marangu Route, known as “The Coca-Cola Route”, is the only Kilimanjaro trail with hut accommodation, making it perfect for trekkers who prefer sleeping in solid shelters instead of tents. This is the most direct route to the summit and can be completed in 5 or 6 days, passing through rainforest, moorland, alpine desert, and the final snowy ascent to Uhuru Peak (5,895 m). Ideal for: Trekkers who want a shorter and simpler route with hut accommodation and a more structured, sheltered experience. What to expect:
Steady, moderate slopes suitable for many fitness levels
Professional licensed mountain guides
Daily hot meals served inside the huts
Fresh purified water and daily health checks
Duration: 5–6 days Start: Marangu Gate Finish: Marangu Gate Short Itinerary: Day 1: Marangu Gate → Mandara Hut (rainforest) Day 2: Mandara Hut → Horombo Hut Day 3 (optional): Acclimatization at Horombo (Zebra Rocks) Day 3/4: Horombo → Kibo Hut Day 4/5: Summit to Uhuru Peak → back to Horombo Day 5/6: Horombo → Marangu Gate → Hotel transfer
Description Serengeti National Park is one of the most iconic wildlife destinations in the world — a vast ecosystem of endless golden plains, dramatic skies, and some of the highest concentrations of animals on the planet. It is home to Africa’s legendary big cats (lions, cheetahs, leopards), enormous herds of zebras and wildebeest, giraffes, elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and over 500 species of birds. The park is also the stage for the Great Migration, one of the world’s most spectacular natural events, where more than 1.5 million wildebeest and zebras move across the plains in search of fresh grass. Even outside migration months, Serengeti offers exceptional year-round wildlife viewing. What you’ll see:
Lions resting on the kopjes
Cheetahs hunting on open plains
Elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalos
Hippos and crocodiles in river areas
Endless savannah landscapes and dramatic sunsets
Landscape: Expansive grasslands, rocky outcrops (kopjes), river valleys, acacia woodlands, and panoramic horizons that stretch as far as the eye can see. Why it’s special: Serengeti is Africa’s most iconic safari destination — wild, immense, and unchanged for thousands of years.
Description Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most unique wildlife areas on Earth — a vast volcanic caldera filled with an extraordinary concentration of animals. The crater’s enclosed ecosystem creates a natural haven where wildlife thrives in a compact, dramatic landscape unlike anywhere else in Africa. Ngorongoro is one of the few places where you can see the Big Five — lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, and leopards — often within a single day. Massive elephant bulls, dense lion populations, large herds of zebras and wildebeest, and rare black rhinos make the crater a true natural wonder. What you’ll see:
Big Five (including rare black rhinos)
Lions, hyenas, elephants, buffaloes
Huge herds of zebras and wildebeest
Hippos in the crater lakes
Flamingos and rich birdlife
Scenic views from the crater rim
Landscape: A 600-meter-deep volcanic caldera with grassy plains, acacia forests, freshwater lakes, swamps, and dramatic steep walls rising around the entire crater. Why it’s special: Ngorongoro is often called “Africa’s Eden” — one of the densest wildlife areas in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Few places offer such close, guaranteed wildlife viewing in such a breathtaking setting.
Description Tarangire National Park is famous for its massive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and wide open savannahs that create some of the most atmospheric landscapes in Tanzania. During the dry season, thousands of animals gather around the Tarangire River — the park’s lifeline — making wildlife viewing exceptional and often dramatic. Tarangire is especially loved for its peaceful, authentic safari feel. It’s less crowded than Serengeti or Ngorongoro, yet incredibly rich in wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalos, and a strong population of lions and leopards. What you’ll see:
Large herds of elephants (one of the biggest populations in Tanzania)
Lions, leopards, cheetahs (excellent chances)
Giraffes, zebras, buffalos, wildebeest, ostriches
Over 500 species of birds — paradise for bird lovers
Beautiful savannahs dotted with giant baobab trees
Landscape: Golden grasslands, towering baobab forests, acacia woodlands, and the winding Tarangire River where animals gather, especially in the dry season (July–October). Why it’s special: Tarangire offers a classic, wild, and less crowded safari experience with spectacular elephant sightings and iconic African scenery.
